SUNDAY SERVICES CANCELLATION POLICY
SUNDAY SERVICES WILL BE CANCELLED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
1. A state of emergency has been declared in Hyde Park or Dutchess County*
2. There is no electric power at the church
3. There is severe weather (discretion of Pastor)
NOTIFICATION WILL BE MADE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
1. Church-wide email
2. Church website (www.hydepark-umc.org)
3. Church phone answering machine (845 229-2114)
4. Radio (FM 92.1, 93.3, 107.3, and AM 1450)
*Dutchess County State of Emergency: "All roads in the county are closed and traffic is prohibited except for medical and health facility personnel; law enforcement and public safety; first responders; utility; maintenance and public works personnel; snow removal sanding, salting and clearing operations personnel; facility operations persons deemed necessary for plant operations by their employers; and public and government personnel involved in the emergency operations."
NOTE: For activities taking place at the church on Monday to Friday, the church building is closed on days the Hyde Park Schools are closed for inclement weather.
