Camp Hope: 2009 Sign-up: by Sunday Feb. 8th
Camp Hope is a Christian Appalachian Project which relies on teams of youth and their adult counselors to repair homes of the elderly and disadvantaged in Allegheny County, MD. This year Hyde Park United Methodist Church's scheduled week to do God's work at Camp Hope is from Sunday July 5th through Saturday July 11th. Teams will depart HPUMC at 6:00 AM sharp on July 5th.
Youth who are currently in grades 9 through 12 and are members of HPUMC must pre-register their interest to participate by Sun. Feb. 8th.
The pre-registration forms and submission box are located in the narthex on Sundays. Given that participation is limited, a parental signature is required to ensure that the parent approves and has confirmed their child is available for those dates. Email confirmation with a schedule of meetings and fund-raising activities will be sent by Sun. Mar. 1st.
Adults who are members of HPUMC and are interested in participating should pre-register as well by Feb. 8th.
